He was a member of the Taiko performing arts ensemble “Kodo” for five years and has performed in 44 prefectures across Japan, 13 states in the United States, and 10 countries in Europe. He currently performs solo, skillfully wielding the Japanese taiko drum and the chappa (metal cymbal). He forms a duo with jazz pianist Yosuke Yamashita and has performed at major shrines and temples, including Kashihara Shrine, Kasuga Taisha Shrine, and Sumiyoshi Taisha Shrine. He teaches taiko and chappa classes in Nara, Osaka, and Kyoto, and holds large recitals and concerts every year.
